The Ocho
Got out for a little 8 hour fun yesterday. Finished 5 laps in 7:15 to place in the top half of the field. I think around 13/14 in a crew of about 30 for the open solo cat. Pretty psyced. Had a good race and never cramped despite the course being soaked (the field were pit row was literally had a foot of standing water in it that you had to ride straight through) and also had to deal with probably the worst tire choice of my life meaning that I was literally drifting around most corners. Despite that I managed to have fun and finish with strength still left in my legs. All in all a good day.

Canoeing with Clark
Clark and I headed out to Lake Julian for some Saturday morning time on the water. He heard that I went paddling with some friends on Friday night and therefor he wanted to go paddling with his friends. So we loaded up the boat and headed out. Once on the water we chased ducks and geese and waved at all the other boaters. It was a fun morning on the water.
