Clark and I headed into the depths of Pisgah on Saturday for his first Backpacking trip. We started from the Turkey Pen parking area and hiked down to Cantrell Creek from there we played on the bridge for a while and splashed around in the creek and mud puddles. We continued to hike up the trail and ended up camping at the intersection of Cantrell and Riverside. Clark had a great time and pretty much sustained himself on M&M's, popcorn and hot chocolate!
