S. Face of Looking Glass

Ran into Brent at the South Face during my 7 days of rock training that I did with the students at UNC Asheville.  Here are some great pics of him killing it on a unamed route between Bloody Crack and Short Man's Sorrow!

Farlow's Eve

Been looking to hit Farlow for a while so today was a real treat.  Had a good spirited time with some great friends and lots of practical jokes and mis-information on the trail to come!  I would say the Farlow is the most technical trail in Pisgah and it showed up in spades.  Ultimatly, we pieced togethor about a 3.5 hour ride and definitly earned a good time tonight!

The only way to enjoy the top!

Friends Visiting

Definitly a bit late, however, here are some pics of our friends the Cunninghams making down for a little Asheville visit.  The weekend was full of bikes rides, run and hanging out!

Fall Leaves

Clark and I spent the 24th getting the yard and roof ready for Santa.  He cleared the porch of leaves while I cleaned the gutters and patched a couple of suspect spot on the roof.  After that it was to the yard where we raked the biggest pile of leaves that we could so that Clark could jump into it!  He had a blast and we ended up working for about 3 hours.  Good times.  His favorite part was pretending that he was a garbage truck or a bull-dozer.

Family Bike Ride!

Bec, Clark, Will and I headed out to Bent Creek for a family bike ride.  It was a great way to wear the kids out on Christmas Eve!  They both slept like babies!!!  We did a perfect 3-mile loop through the campground, over the the Arboretum and back on the road.  Great times!
